About me
I first studied Zoology out of highschool as a result of my fascination with the world. My journey led me to Washington, DC where I worked for various non-profits, and then into documentary television. After working in video editing for a few years and gaining many life experiences I returned home to WI to begin a new journey as an artist. From this I discovered Industrial Design and was immediately captivated by the possibility and variety within the industry, the potential to create, and the possibility to change how we interact with the world around us.
Curiosity drives my passions. The past is just as full of discoveries as the future. I love to travel and learn about new cultures, customs and food. I think about the diverse people I’ve met, how different cultures interact with the world, and of the art and architecture I’ve encountered. I like to think holistically about design and the interconnectedness of everything we do. I often to look to nature for answers, as I have found that many problems have already been solved by mother earth.
Outside of the studio you might see me doing yoga in the park, camping, riding my bike around town, cooking, trying out a new restaurant or spending too much money at craft stores!
